Which size should I order?
Baby fits about 3–12 months (head 13–15½″ / 34–40 cm), Kid fits about 1–6 years (15½–21½″ / 39–55 cm) and Adult fits teens and adults (21–25½″ / 53–65 cm). The rib knit stretches, so between sizes, pick the larger one. The size chart has the width of each beanie laid flat.
Will the Baby size fit a newborn?
It’s made for 3–12 months. On a newborn it sits loose and slouchy, with room to grow into over the first winter.
How long can the name be?
Up to 12 characters in one line on the cuff. Names up to 8 letters look best on Baby and up to 10 on Kid — longer names are stitched a little smaller to fit.
Is the name printed?
No — it’s embroidered in dense, glossy thread straight into the cuff, so it won’t crack, peel or fade like a print.
Can I order matching beanies for the whole family?
Yes — personalize one beanie and add it to your cart, then do the next. Each one can have its own size, color, name, font and thread color.
What is the pom-pom?
A fluffy faux-fur pom-pom in a shade that matches the beanie, sewn to the top. It adds $2; leave it at No Pom-Pom for the classic look. For babies, we recommend the beanie without a pom-pom.
Which thread color should I pick?
White or Cream stands out best on darker beanies (Caramel, Brown, Red, Navy, Olive, Black). On White, Sand, Pink and Light Blue, pick a deeper thread such as Brown, Navy, Hot Pink or Black.
How do I wash it?
Hand wash cold with a mild detergent, gently squeeze out the water and lay it flat to dry. Don’t bleach, wring or tumble dry it, and don’t iron over the embroidery.
How is it packed?
