Is it hand-painted?
It’s painted digitally: your pet’s face and fur from your photo are worked into the costume in the style of an old-master oil painting, then printed on artist canvas. That keeps every whisker sharp and the price far below a commission.
Which photo works best?
A bright, sharp photo of their face at eye level, with the ears and chin in frame. Phone photos are fine — send the original, not a screenshot.
Can I put two or three pets on one canvas?
Yes. Choose 2 Pets or 3 Pets and upload a photo of each; they sit side by side on the same canvas, turned sideways. Tell us who wears what, or leave it to us and we pair them as King and Queen (then the Prince).
Can you add their name?
Yes, for free: type it in the nameplate box and we paint it in classic capitals on a small gold plaque at the bottom of the portrait. Leave it empty for no name.
Does it need a frame?
No. It’s a gallery-wrapped canvas on a 1.2″ (3 cm) deep wooden frame, with the painting continuing around the sides and a hanger fitted on the back.
How do I know it will turn out right?
We make it from the photo and choices you send. Every canvas is checked by hand against your order before it ships, and if we ever get it wrong, we remake it free.
