Which photo works best?
A sharp, bright photo of their face at eye level, with both ears in the frame. Embroidery simplifies the tiniest details, so a close-up gives the best likeness. A photo straight from your phone is fine.
Can I put two pets in one hoop?
Yes — choose 2 Pets and upload a photo of each; they can come from different photos. They’re stitched side by side, and you type their names left to right, e.g. BELLA & MILO. Two pets fit every size; for the biggest faces, choose 6″ or 8″.
Does it work for cats and other pets?
Yes — dogs, cats, rabbits, horses and more. If their face is clear in the photo, we can stitch it.
Will it look like my pet?
We turn your photo into a stitch pattern by hand, matching their colors, markings and ear shape, and every ornament is checked against your photo before it ships. If we get it wrong, we remake it free.
Which size should I choose?
4″ (10 cm) is the classic tree ornament, about the size of a large bauble. 5″ and 6″ (13–15 cm) hang on the tree or stand out on a shelf or wall. 8″ (20 cm) is a wall hoop with the biggest portrait. The size guide shows all four to scale.
Can I add the year — or their years?
Yes, free: type a year such as 2026, or a span such as 2012–2026 for a pet who’s passed. It’s stitched a little smaller under the name, in the same thread. Leave it blank for the name only.
Is the portrait printed?
No — it’s embroidered in glossy thread that follows the direction of their fur, so it has real texture and won’t crack, peel or fade like a print.
How does it hang?
Every hoop comes with a satin bow and a ribbon loop in red, gold or white, tied at the brass-tone screw — ready for a tree branch, a nail or a door knob. The back is closed with a neat felt circle.
How do I care for it?
Dust it with a soft dry brush or dab marks with a damp cloth and let it air dry. Don’t wash or iron it, and keep it out of strong direct sun.
How is it packed?
In a clear protective bag with a card backing, so the embroidery arrives flat and tight. Sending it as a gift? Add the gift-ready box (£3.99) at checkout.
