What photo works best?
A bright, sharp photo with plenty of color and detail. Phone photos are fine — send the original, not a screenshot. For 500 or 1000 pieces, a photo with some texture in the background (trees, snow, a sofa) is more fun than a big plain sky or wall.
Will my photo be cropped?
Only a little: we fit your photo to the puzzle’s shape and keep faces and pets whole. A landscape photo makes a landscape puzzle, a portrait photo a portrait one.
How big are the pieces?
About ¾″ (2 cm) in every size: more pieces make a bigger puzzle, not smaller pieces. The 120-piece puzzle is the quickest to finish.
Can I add text?
Yes, for free: type up to 30 characters — a name, a date or a short message — and pick a font. We print it along the bottom of the picture, on the puzzle and the box. Leave it empty for the photo only.
What comes in the box?
The pieces in a sealed bag and a printed copy of your photo to work from, in a sturdy box with your photo on the lid. A gift-ready box is available at checkout.
Is it suitable for kids?
The 120-piece puzzle is a good first photo puzzle for children about 6 and up. It contains small parts, so it isn’t suitable for children under 3.
How do I know it will turn out right?
We make it from the photo you upload, touched up by hand. Every puzzle is checked against your order before it ships, and if we ever get it wrong, we remake it free.
