The 18K Gold Plated finish is plated: take them off before swimming or showering, and keep them away from perfume and lotion to keep the color longer. Wipe them with a soft dry cloth and store each on its own so it doesn’t scratch.

What are they made of?
Stainless steel. Silver Tone is the polished steel itself; 18K Gold Plated is a plating over the steel, and like any plating the color wears with time. To keep it longer, take them off before swimming or showering, and keep them away from perfume and lotion.
