What handwriting works?
Any: a signature, a note, a line from a card or letter. Photograph it flat in good light; dark ink on light paper works best. We trace and clean it up by hand.
½″ or ¾″?
The ½″ disc is dainty and suits a signature or a word or two; the ¾″ disc has room for a short note.
Can I use a message from someone who has passed?
Yes — many customers do, and we treat every note with care.
How do I know it will turn out right?
We engrave the handwriting from the photo you upload, exactly as it was written. Every piece is checked by hand against your order before it ships, and if we ever get it wrong, we remake it free.
