What kind of photo works best?
A clear, bright photo taken at their eye level, with the whole face and both ears in frame. A phone photo is perfect — please upload the original, not a screenshot. Older photos work too, as long as the face is sharp.
Will it look like my pet?
We draw the portrait from your photo — their face shape, ears, markings and expression — and engrave it as fine dark lines. The clearer the photo, the closer the likeness.
Can I add more than one pet?
Yes — choose 2 to 5 discs and upload one photo and one name for each pet. Every disc gets its own portrait and name, and they hang side by side on one chain.
What can I engrave on the back?
Up to 30 characters — a date, “Forever in my heart” or your pet’s nickname — plus a tiny paw print if you tick the box. Both are free, and the back is the same on every disc. Leave it blank for a plain back.
Can I order it in memory of a pet?
Yes — many customers do, often with their years on the back, like 2012–2026. We treat every photo with care.
What is it made of?
The disc and chain are stainless steel. The gold and rose gold finishes are 18K gold or rose gold plated over stainless steel; like any plating, it wears with time. Take it off to swim or shower and keep it away from perfume and lotion to keep the color longer.
Which length should I choose?
18″ (46 cm) suits most people and sits just below the collarbone. Every chain has a 2″ (5 cm) extender. With three or more discs, 18″ or 20″ lets them sit side by side.
How is it packed?
In protective packaging. Sending it as a gift? Add the gift-ready box ($4.99) at checkout.
How do I know it will turn out right?
We engrave the portrait from the photo you upload and the name exactly as you type it, in the font you choose. Every necklace is checked by hand against your order before it ships, and if we ever get it wrong, we remake it free.
