How detailed is a woven portrait?
Weaving gives a soft, textured, tapestry look. The finest details are simplified a little, so a clear, close photo of their face works best.
Which size should I choose?
37″ × 52″ (94 × 132 cm) is a lap throw or a wall hanging, 50″ × 60″ (127 × 152 cm) a full sofa throw, and 60″ × 80″ (152 × 203 cm) tops a queen bed. Sizes don’t count the fringe.
Is it printed?
No — the portrait and name are woven from colored yarns on a jacquard loom, so the back shows the same design in reversed colors.
How do I know it will turn out right?
We work from the photo you upload. Every blanket is checked by hand against your order before it ships, and if we ever get it wrong, we remake it free.
